Alleged Mossad spy appears in Polish court

Dear Editor,

In your “Alleged Mossad spy appears in Polish court” you name Mahmoud Abdel Rauf al-Mabhouh a “Hamas leader.” How sweet a euphemism!

In fact, if we may believe Wikipedia (which you quote without acknowledgment), he was
– A senior Hamas military commander and one of the founders of its military wing
– Not just a white-collar mass murderer – he admitted that he himself got his hands dirty and murdered two Israeli young men
– Also alleged to have played a key role in forging secret connections between the Hamas junta in Gaza and the foreign wing of the Iranian militia of the Islamic junta.

The euphemisms are for the terrorists who hate Israel (leader, activists, Hamas government) while the epithets are for the Israelis (hard-liner, illegitimate). You make the world so easy to understand!
